By the end of this module, you’ll have a lead magnet so targeted and valuable that it qualifies prospects while you sleep.
Before you can create a lead magnet, you need to be crystal clear on who you are helping, what you offer, and how your expertise stands out in the market. This isn’t just about sharing knowledge — it’s about building a system that attracts, qualifies, and educates the right people so they’re ready to work with you.
Start with clarity. Ask yourself:
What do I do today that generates value?
“Example: I currently freelance as a copywriter helping SaaS brands improve conversion rates.”
What kind of work do I want to do tomorrow?
What type of client challenges do I enjoy solving the most?
What proof do I already have (experience, results, knowledge)?
Your business idea is the foundation. Without it, you’ll waste time building the wrong systems.
Write it down in one sentence:
“I help [target audience] achieve [result] through [method/strengths].”
Avoid trying to appeal to everyone. Instead, define a narrow and underserved space where your value shines.
This is your Blue Ocean — a place with high demand and low competition.
Ask yourself:
What market has clear demand but poor solutions?
Which industries or job roles are underserved or misunderstood?
Where can I deliver 10x more value than my competitors?
Define both your niche (e.g. market entry support) and your sub-niche (e.g. B2B SaaS companies from Asia targeting Sweden).
Use these prompts to generate insights with AI tools like ChatGPT
What could be around the corner for you?
A huge new business, a game-changing client, a jaw-dropping deal?
All of these things could be on their way. But rather than sit there and try to manifest them into your life, you can use these prompts to go out and find them.
Figure out your unfair advantage
I’m thinking of starting a business that [describe what this business does] and I want to understand my unique strengths in making it a success. I have experience in [describe your experience] and expertise in [describe your expertise]. I have access to people who [describe your network]. Can you give me the reasons why this will and won’t be a success based on my specific situation?
Understand your perfect custome
Now that you know what business I want to start, help me choose the best niche and sub-niche by proposing 5 clearly different customer segments that would benefit the most from this business idea.
For each of the 5 niches and sub-niches:
Describe the ideal customer in that segment (demographics, role, behavior, industry, etc). List their top 3 problems or frustrations that my business could solve — ranked by how urgent or important they are. Explain what solutions, tools or services they currently use (or try to use), and where those might fall short. Indicate what emotional triggers or business needs would motivate them to try something new like my solution.
Finish by telling me which niche/sub-niche is the most promising based on my experience and the business I want to build.
Assess demand for your idea
Can you give me 3 main reasons why someone would want to buy my product — based specifically [on the most promising niche/sub-niche you previously identified?]
Next, estimate how many people in [location, if applicable] could be in my target audience, and tell me the size of this market and its likely growth over the next five years.
Please also include any adjacent markets I could explore.
Now it’s time to create the asset that works while you sleep. Your Lead Magnet should:
Answer key questions your ideal client is already asking. Be available on demand (on your site, via email, or in a conversation flow)
Help the reader/viewer make a better decision
I use Coachvox.ai to train an AI assistant to become a digital version of myself. I’ve fed it over 1,000 prompts and answers from real-life consulting conversations.
It speaks multiple languages, works 24/7, and allows my clients to engage with my knowledge before we ever speak.
You can do the same:
Train your AI assistant with your insights, frameworks, advice and case studies. Make it helpful, personal, and tailored to your niche
.
If your Lead Magnet looks and sounds like everyone else’s, it will be ignored. Add personal stories, lived experience, specific examples and cultural context.
This builds trust and shows you’ve actually done the work.
